Recep Özdemir

Recep Özdemir is a senior tourism and hospitality professional with twenty-eight years of international hotel experience. Throughout his career he has held a range of leadership positions within the world’s leading international hotel groups including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Barceló, and Wyndham, and has served as General Manager at IHG, Wyndham, and Marriott-branded hotels.

Having led four hotel openings and a comprehensive hotel renovation as General Manager, Özdemir has gained extensive experience in hotel development, operational structuring, brand positioning, and the implementation of international brand standards.

Özdemir spent the last decade of his career in leadership roles within Marriott, serving for three years as Chairman of the Marriott Business Council Türkiye. His first-hand experience of the cultures, standards, and management models of different global brands enables him to build a strong and reliable bridge between investor expectations and international brand requirements.

As the Founder of MAGIS Hospitality, Özdemir brings the investor’s vision together with international hospitality expertise; through the strong network of collaboration he has built with solution partners across different areas of expertise, he develops holistic, results-oriented management models tailored to the specific needs of each project.
